Una de las eternas favoritas entre los invocadores de la Liga de Leyendas es Ashe, la belleza freljordiana. Es descendiente directa de Avarosa, una de las tres hermanas legendarias que reclamaron el dominio de las tribus que poblaban la gélida tundra del norte de Valoran. Ashe hace gala de la inigualable maestría con el arco de sus ancestros, con lo que se ganó el título de »arquera de hielo» al igual que Avarosa en su día. Ashe es princesa en su tierra, aunque prefiere que los forasteros la llamen por su nombre tribal en lugar de utilizar elaboradas fórmulas de cortesía. Así y todo, en Freljord hay quien prefiere referirse a ella como la »difunta» arquera de hielo, pues las otras dos tribus descendientes de las Tres Hermanas son eternas enemigas de Ashe y su pueblo. Después de haber sobrevivido a más de un intento de asesinato, a Ashe le gusta conocer bien las características de los lugares que visita.
Llegó a la Academia de la Guerra al servicio de los invocadores, en busca de la influencia y el favor necesarios para llevar la paz a su reino, el cual permanece sumido en una eterna guerra civil desde Avarosa y la Época de las Tres Hermanas. Con incontables victorias en su haber, está empezado a aprovechar la influencia que ha ganado en la Liga. Corren rumores de que se ha asociado con el campeón Tryndamere fuera de los Campos de la Justicia. Pese a que considera que tales comentarios son frívolos, ahora es el centro de atención pues su éxito en la Liga podría servirle para restaurar la paz de su pueblo de una vez por todas.
