El gigante norteamericano, Electronic Arts, ha cosechado su sexto puesto número uno en ventas navideñas en el Reino Unido durante los últimos ocho años. Lográndolo en esta ocasión con FIFA 09, que ha aumentado un 89% sus ventas en los últimos informes presentados por GFK-ChartTrack.
Call of Duty: World at War había conseguido el puesto número uno durante las últimas cinco semanas en el Reino Unido, pero ha sido FIFA 09 quien se ha hecho con el puesto de cabeza en la semana decisiva relegando al título de Activision al segundo puesto.
A sólo 3.000 copias del shooter bélico se encuentra Mario Kart Wii, cuyo lanzamiento hace ya seis meses no parece óbice para el éxito del videojuego de Nintendo. Destacan también en los puestos cuarto y séptimo respectivamente las presencias de Need for Speed Undercover y Quantum of Solace.
